The Kathmandu Literary Jatra is whole heartedly invested in education and learning.The Jatra seeks to nurture a life long love for reading, a natural inclination towards clarity in communication, and an engagement with writing. It seeks to inspire new audiences and encourage the exploration of new ideas. Our events are tailored toward offering people from a diversity of backgrounds the oppertunity to learn from each other and develop as human beings.
The Jatra has specially tailored school, college and university programs targeted toward engaging students from different backgrounds and educational levels. It also has professional development programs that explores, understands and debates issues faced by working professionals. From the importance of visual literacy to the inner workings of the mind, the Jatra explores creative ways to learn.
